Massacoustics Acoustic	Although they didnt officially form until the very end of the 90s, the Massacoustics sound like theyve been playing together all their lives. Thats because they have as brothers are wont to do. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Andy and Matt Thompson first started playing music in grade school, which goes a long way toward explaining not only their incredible sibling harmonies and innate instrumental chemistry, but also the uniformly high quality of their impeccably crafted original songs. Now based in Nashville, Tenn., the Massacoustics have recorded two albums full of their quirky, pop-laced soul (think Crowded House meets Paul McCartney and Al Green) and shared stages with the varied likes of Willie Nelson, Nickel Creek and Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings.
