We couldn't have said it better ourselves!!
It's been about two years since Railroad Earth released Elko , the double-live album showcasing their instrumental and vocal virtuosity, to critical acclaim. Anticipation has been building for a new release and for the first time in 4 years, Railroad Earth finds themselves back in the studio recording all new material. Railroad Earth is nearing the final stages of recording their newest studio album, (title still pending) and the band is very enthusiastic about what they're accomplishing.
It's definitely a home-grown project, much like the band itself. They are recording the new album at a 300 year-old farmhouse in Stillwater, NJ, in a recording studio they built themselves.
Among the 6 members, they play just about every instrument you can think of and are producing the record themselves. Phil Nicolo will step in to mix the album for the final product. Look for the yet-to-be titled release to hit in June 2008 on SCI Fidelity Records.
