Coyote Folk Send email to Coyote	COYOTE is the songwriting duo of Marcy Brenner and Lou Castro who make the beautiful island of Ocracoke, NC their home. Reachable only by ferry, this magical place of sea and sound feeds their music; a soulful blend of folk, blues and rock influences that comes from the heart. Enchanting audiences with intimate songs and a variety of acoustic instruments, COYOTE receives glowing reviews for both their performances and their songs. Their first release entitled “Live from the Outer Banks” is a collection of fresh“covers” from their first season performing together. COYOTE debuted a collection of original songs (along with a few choice covers) in June of 2005 to an eager following of regional fans. “Home To Me” has received high praise and rave reviews since its release last season and four tracks (Maestro, Follow Me, Dead Girl Walking, Hurricane-Flood-Tornado) have reached the top 10 in their genre in online peer reviews (www.broadjam.com).
