In the mid 1990s, Craig Sala and Ken Hirasaki, the underage rhythm section of Joni's Butterfly, found themselves on tour with John Entwhistle of The Who, playing to sold out venues beyond their wildest dreams. When the band became lost in a shuffle of managers, contracts, and egos, the two picked up a new singer in Dave Harris and started over in 2000. Their shared love of Neil Diamond, the Descendants and worship of the great rock trios of the past inspired them to pull out all the stops to create a dynamic, catchy onslaught of rock n roll described by Andy White of WBZT 96.7 Greenville, SC as the "Foo Fighters on steroids." |
